Commitment to Lifelong Learning

As technology is rapidly changing the labor landscape, the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME), Assumption University, is dedicated to creating opportunities for lifelong learning. Through the unwavering commitment to the betterment of education, MSME has innovated new learning initiatives catering to the needs of the industry.

Keeping abreast of the changes in technology has become mandatory for universities in educating the youth for the future. As Thailand is quickly entering the transition into an aging society, retooling the workforce becomes a crucial initiative for organizations. MSME envisions a training center that is designed to retool organizations in order to maintain competitiveness while ensuring continued employment of its valued employees. This is not just any training center but one developed to fit the needs of the particular organization.

Taking the pioneering step forward MSME has initiated the outreach training program for N.A.P. Services and Trading Co., Ltd., a top cleaning service provider in Thailand with 8,000 employees. The company is keen on improving the skills of its workforce in order to provide higher quality services to maintain its superior competitive advantage. Thus, the company has decided to join forces with MSME to provide tailor-made training for their middle management in managerial operation.

The MOU between MSME and N.A.P. Services and Trading Co., Ltd. was signed on July 4th, 2019 at Assumption University, Huamak Campus. Representing Assumption University was Rector Magnificus, Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, and Executive Directors, Mr. Suatchai Chenyavanij and Mr. Eakalux Sarikarat for N.A.P. Services and Trading. The witnesses were Dr. Uree Chaesakul, Dean, MSME, and Mr. Yossawat Masontasuwan, Executive Director, N.A.P. Services and Trading.

Over a period of five years, the program is expected to train about 400 middle management staff through multiple courses. This training is specifically designed to serve the needs of the client as well as to promote MSME’s business outreach to the community. In addition, this strengthens the School’s industrial network and alumni engagement while providing opportunities for the workforce to realize their full potential in this challenging environment of disruption. The training would be held in the Huamak Campus of Assumption University.
