
About Chainarong Rungruengarporn, Ph.D.
Dr. Chainarong is a long-standing faculty member of the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME), specializing in Marketing and Customer Experience Management. He has served Assumption University since 2009, contributing to teaching, research, and academic leadership. Prior to his appointment as Dean of the MSME Business School, he held the position of Chairperson of the Department of Marketing, where he strengthened curriculum development and advanced industry-aligned learning initiatives.
With academic training from Assumption University and the University of Melbourne, Dr. Chainarong brings international perspective, research expertise, and a student-centered approach to leadership. His professional background includes consulting roles in marketing and CRM, bridging academic rigor with practical industry insights.
As Dean, he is committed to elevating MSME’s global competitiveness, fostering experiential learning, and enhancing the School’s engagement with the business community.

It is an honor to serve as Dean of the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics at a time when global business, technology and society are evolving at extraordinary speed. Today’s leaders must be adaptable, internationally minded and driven by a sense of purpose. At MSME Business School, we are committed to preparing our students for this new landscape with education that is globally relevant, ethically grounded and firmly connected to industry.
MSME Business School has long been known for its multicultural environment, diverse business programs and strong emphasis on practical learning. As we move forward, we will continue to expand opportunities for students to learn through real-world experience, working closely with companies, entrepreneurs and our growing network of partners. Our startup-centric approach and industry collaborations help students build the capabilities that employers expect: innovation, data-driven decision making, customer understanding and strategic thinking.
With my background in Marketing and Customer Experience Management, I am particularly committed to strengthening the way we teach value creation. In a world shaped by rapid digital change and rising customer expectations, our students must understand markets deeply, design solutions intelligently and lead with empathy as well as insight.
We also recognize that business education must go beyond skills and knowledge. In today’s business world, the most influential leaders are those who lead responsibly, act sustainably, and create impact that extends beyond the bottom line.
