On August 13, 2025, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), through its MSME Business School, officially signed a MOU with the Faculty of Built Environment, University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia — marking a new chapter of cross-border academic collaboration. ✨
🇹🇭 In his opening remarks, Dr. Chainarong Rungruengarporn, Dean of MSME, highlighted the significance of innovative solutions and cross-border synergies to enhance opportunities for students, faculty, and the wider region. 🌍
🇲🇾 Professor Sr Ts. Dr. Azlan Shah Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Built Environment at UM, shared the exciting possibilities ahead from joint research initiatives and academic exchange programs to collaborative curriculum development focused on real estate development, management, and the built environment.
✨ Kicking off the partnership, the Integrated Real Estate Project will run from August 13–18, 2025, uniting 53 students and 5 faculty members from Malaysia with AU students for a week of academic workshops, industry talks, and immersive field visits to key Bangkok sites. 📝🏗️🏢
📌 This milestone strengthens academic and cultural ties between Thailand and Malaysia, paving the way for innovation, industry relevance, and regional impact in the built environment sector — reaffirming both institutions’ shared commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and collaboration. ⚡️
