Thomas has been awarded the DAAD SurPlace Full Scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), for outstanding students in Southeast Asia , to study a Master of Science in Logistics Engineering and Management program at TUM Asia (Technical University of Munich Asia), ranked #22 in the QS World University Rankings 2026, making it the #1 university in Germany and one of the top 25 in Europe.
