The Project is an environmental protection project which involves packages and cartons waste recycling to produce corrugated roofing sheets, used in building temporary homes and shelters for victims affected by natural disasters.

The Project is initiated by Tetra Pak Company (Thailand), a Swiss based company in collaboration with the domestic charity Princess Pa Foundation, which is a part of the Thai Red Cross Society. Our faculty members and students have been participating in this project since its launch in 2010, by working closely with the Princess Pa Foundation. The Project is incorporated into the Principles of Marketing course, which is required for all undergraduate students. It enables students to gain knowledge of social and environmental impacts and also prepares students to address the issue. The activities range from promoting the project to generate positive publicity among students and faculty members, setting up carton drop off points, to collecting and cleaning the cartons before transporting them to the assigned location.
